Isabel “Iz” King is a professional off-road cyclist from California who didn’t have the most traditional path into the sport. As a soccer player growing up, she assumed being D1 captain of her team at Columbia University was the end of her athletic career. She worked in New York City for UBS on the equity trading floor for 4 years before moving to Los Angeles to get her MBA from UCLA. While in school she discovered the world of endurance athletics and decided to pursue a career as a professional cyclist after she graduated. Now, Iz is one of the top professional female racers in the country, lining up in her signature orange camouflage, usually with a huge smile on her face.
