City centre course for Glasgow National Road Race Championships
British Cycling has unveiled the courses for this year's National Road Race and Time Trial Championships, both of which will be held in Scotland.
The main attraction will be the Glasgow city centre course used for this year's Road Race Championships (June 23), which is doubling up as a trial run for the Commonwealth Games races in 2014.
There will be fully closed roads for the duration of the event, which takes in iconic locations such as Sauciehall Street and the Kelvingrove Park.
This is the first year that British Cycling put the delivery of the event out to tender, and as a result, the standard of the event looks set to be raised even further.

The time trial events - which will take place in the same week as the road races, as is the case across Europe - will be held in Stewarton, East Ayrshire on June 20.

British Cycling Board Member Alasdair Maclennan, said: "Glasgow was the strongest of a number of exciting bids for to host the 2013 National Road Race championship, further cementing its reputation as a major cycling city after last years Track World Cup and with the Junior Track World champs in August. We're certain that Glasgow will do a great job of delivering this, the latest major sporting event to be hosted in the city this year."
