First two rounds of Revolution track series sold out

The first two rounds of the 2012-13 Revolution track series on October 27 and December 1 have already sold out.

Buoyed by the incredible success of the British Olympic and Paralympic squads on the boards in London, the opening two nights of the Revolution series at the Manchester velodrome have proved to be incredibly popular.

Tickets for the third round of the series in Manchester on January 5 and the final round at the brand new Sir Chris Hoy velodrome in Glasgow on February 2 are still available.

IG-Sigma Sport and Raleigh-GAC will field teams in the event for the first time, lining up alongside old hands Sky, Rapha Condor Sharp and reigning Revolution champions Maxgear.

Olympic team pursuit gold medallists Ed Clancy and Steven Burke are scheduled to ride, with team pursuit world champion Andy Tennant also in attendance.

For those unfamiliar with the Revolution format, the evening consists of fast-paced racing in a family-friendly atmosphere. Emphasis is as much on entertainment as racing, and a great night out is guaranteed.
