Alex Dowsett in lead, Tour of Britain 2014 stage six
Alex Dowsett (Movistar) will join a host of international track stars at the opening round of the 2014-15 Revolution Series at the Lee Valley VeloPark in London later this month.
British time trial champion Dowsett will come up against the likes of Team Sky's Ben Swift and Ian Stannard, and NFTO's Adam Blythe on the boards of the London 2012 velodrome over October 24-25.
Dowsett will join forces with Dutchman Wim Stroetinga in the Telegraph All Stars team and will take part in the National Madison Championships on Friday evening.
Dowsett's appearance in the London velodrome comes on the back of his expression of interest in taking on the iconic Hour Record, with a new marker recently set by German Jens Voigt.
For more information and tickets for the events, visit the Revolution Series website. Further rounds of the series take place in Manchester and Glasgow, plus a return visit to London.

Nigel Wynn worked as associate editor on CyclingWeekly.com, he worked almost single-handedly on the Cycling Weekly website in its early days. His passion for cycling, his writing and his creativity, as well as his hard work and dedication, were the original driving force behind the website’s success. Without him, CyclingWeekly.com would certainly not exist on the size and scale that it enjoys today. Nigel sadly passed away, following a brave battle with a cancer-related illness, in 2018. He was a highly valued colleague, and more importantly, an exceptional person to work with - his presence is sorely missed.
