Bradley Wiggins, Ben Swift and Marcel Kittel on the Tour de Yorkshire startlist
Nine Yorkshiremen feature on the provisionals start list for the Tour de Yorkshire, with Bradley Wiggins set to race for his new team
The provisional start list for May's Tour de Yorkshire has been published, with plenty of big names on show for the inaugural race, including nine natives of the county.
Bradley Wiggins will pull on the jersey of his eponymous team and will race against his former colleagues at Team Sky, who feature Yorkshireman Ben Swift in their ranks.
BMC have named a strong squad for the three-day race, starting May 1, with Greg Van Avermaet, Samuel Sanchez and Marcus Burghardt set to take part.
Meanwhile, Marcel Kittel will feature for Giant-Alpecin, having starred in the county last year by winning the opening stage of the Tour de France.
