Cancellara is the undisputed King of the Cobblestones

Anyone who watched Fabian Cancellara destroy the field at the Tour of Flanders and then repeat the performance at Paris-Roubaix will know that the Swiss machine has ruled the cobbled Classics this season.
To put it into context, Cancellara put almost four-and-a-half minutes into Tom Boonen over the two races.
In just over 13 hours, or 520 kilometres, of racing, Cancellara spent 92 kilometres off the front on his own or with one or two other riders for company.
It has been an incredible eight days for the Saxo Bank rider and Cycling Weekly has combined the times for both Classics to illustrate his superiority.
They gave a cobblestone to Filippo Pozzato as the first Italian finisher of Paris-Roubaix, to mark the memory of former winner Franco Ballerini.
Perhaps there should be a prize for the rider who does best over the course of both the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix.
So step forward, Fabian Cancellara, the inaugural winner of Cycling Weekly's 'just for fun' King of the Cobblestones competition.
