Dame Sarah Storey to open Portsmouth Pearl Izumi Store
Paralympic champion Dame Sarah Storey will officially open the new Portsmouth Pearl Izumi store on Saturday November 15
Paralympic gold medallist Dame Sarah Storey will officially open the new Pearl Izumi Factory Outlet Store in Portsmouth on Saturday (November 15).
The Pearl Izumi Sports Tours International rider, who has 6 Paralympic cycling gold medals to her name will be at the store's grand opening in Gunwharf Quays to meet and greet customers from midday.
Storey, whose most recent victory came in the national 25 mile Time Trial Championship in August, taking the win by 45 seconds, set up the new Pearl Izumi team for the 2014 season in aid of Boot Out Breast Cancer.
“We are really happy to have an athlete of Dame Sarah Storey’s calibre officially open the store," Brand Director for Pearl Izumi at Madison Will Fripp said.
"We are sure shoppers will be excited to meet a multiple gold medal Paralympian and make the most of the giveaways and promotions we will have on offer to celebrate its opening."
Pearl Izumi’s trained in-store ambassadors will also be available for advice on the best kit for cycling, running and triathlon.
