Eurobike show report: 2010 kit in pictures
Cycling Weekly's tech team is currently at the Eurobike show in Friedrichschafen, Germany, checking out next year's bikes and kit.
The show is one of the biggest in the world and is often the first chance to catch of glimps of all the 2010 kit. British fans of bike tech will have to wait a little longer for the Cycle Show in Earls Court next month.Tickets are available through the official website.
Here we bring you a selection of what's new - check back often, because we'll be updating the article with more new kit throughout the show.
All new shoes from French manufacturer Carnac. 2x4 closure strap uses magnets to hold the clasp down with a ratchet on the outside of the foot to adjust the length. Fast removal and it does up to exactly the same place you last had it set. Two patents applied for

Scott Team Issue road shoe. £179, 39-48, carbon sole with adjustable insole arch support comes with three heights in the box. Three straps, bottom two with Velcro, main strap uses new Scott ratchet with the other end adjustable too (just like Specialized's)

2010 Pinarello Dogma in a blue and white livery. It's the sort of bike that might be used by a pro team, but we just can't think of one with these colours. Yet. Ahem. Next...
Reynolds has teamed up with Paul Lew of Lew Racing to create the RZR 46T wheelset. A rival to Lightweight, the wheelset weight is 875g. The rim includes a 'trip strip' where the spokes enter the rim: this strengthens the rim but also, importantly, reduces wind drag when in crosswinds.

Time bikes has launched an all-new machine at Eurobike. It joins the French production line so incorporates the tried-and-tested RTM construction technology. Named the RX Instinct, it has what looks like a one-piece moulded front triangle with a massive, for Time, bottom bracket shell (below) and an aero-profile seatpost.
