OVER 100 BIKES TO TRY OUT IN THE LAKES
Lake District based retailer Wheelbase is offering everyone the chance to try out over 100 mountain bikes at its 2008 Big Weekend in the Lakes over March 8-9.
Many big name brands will be available to try out, including Whyte, Trek, Turner, Marin Kona, Rocky Mountain, Cannondale, Cove, Litespeed and Yeti. The latter will be brining along its new Yeti 575 and ASR-Carbon bikes to show the crowds.
There will be two demo rides each day leaving the shop at 10am and 2pm, split according to ability. There is also a dedicated downhill course and up lift with loads of man-made flowing Northshore sections.
For those wanting to make a weekend of it, Wheelbase are holding a Big Demo Party on the Saturday night (March 8). Last year?s party was heaving and with a bigger line up of bands and a DJ they are hoping for more of the same revelry this year.
Pre booking demo rides is essential and this can be done by logging on to www.wheelbase.co.uk.
