PAUL DAVIES MEMORIAL CHALLENGE
July 2 will see the start of the latest event in support of the Paul Davies Memorial Fund. There is a choice of three routes: the 25km from Billericay to Blackmore and back is aimed for fun riders; the 50km from Billericay to Willingale and back is aimed to those with some cycling experience; and the big 100km from Billericay to Little Hallingbury and back is aimed at those more serious riders.
All rides will start at 8.30am from Hannakins Farm Community Centre and follow mainly the quiet lanes of the areas covered.
The entry is £15 and all finishers will receive an award. All proceeds will go to the Cardiomyopathy Association in memory of Paul Davies, who died aged 28 in 2005.
Entries should be sent to the organiser: Trevor Mills, 4 Trumpeter Court, Billericay, CM12 0HQ or telephone 01277 657 186. There will also be entries allowed on the day.
