TOUR OF BRITAIN START LIST
The Tour of Britain organisers have released the final start list for the race, following some late changes to several team line-ups
Tony Gibb is out of the Plowman Craven RT team after breaking his arm. Ben Greenwood is out of the Rapha-Condor-Recycling.co.uk team after breaking his leg in the Tour of Ireland. Gibb has been replaced by Alex Higham, while Rhys Lloyd takes Greenwood?s place.
Barloworld have changed three of their riders. Mauricio Soler had visa problems and has been replaced by Daryl Impey, Diego Caccia has taken Baden Cooke?s place and Hugo Sabido replaces Paolo Longo Borghini.
The 16 teams in the race are a mixture of ProTour, Continental Professional and Continental giving plenty of interest to fans following the race as the British talent pit themselves against some very well known international riders.
Last year's winner Romain Feillu (Agritubel) wears number one. Each squad is made up of six riders, bringing the total of participants to 96.
The eight-stage race starts in Westminster on Sunday, September 7, and finishes in Liverpool the following Sunday, September 14. Along the way it visits the west country, the Midlands and Scotland.
