South Downs Spring Sportive rescheduled for May 18 2013
We regret to inform you that the Cycling Weekly South Downs Spring Sportive (Saturday, March 23 2013), has now been re-arranged in the interests of rider safety and due to the probable adverse weather conditions forecast for the day.
The event has now been re-scheduled for Saturday May 18th at the same venue, with the same route options - and you don't need to do anything - your entry will automatically be switched to the new event date.
However, should this date prove inconvenient, your entry can also be transferred to any of the remaining events in the Cycling Weekly Sportive Series. If you wish to transfer to an alternative event, please send an email to onlineshop@ipcmedia.com providing your original booking reference and your preferred alternative event as soon as possible.
We are very sorry to inform you of this re-scheduling at such a late stage, but your safety and overall enjoyment of the event is of paramount importance to us at all times. We have been carefully monitoring the weather forecast in the hope that the unseasonal weather conditions forecast would become more favourable.
Unfortunately, they have not (in fact the opposite has happened) and we now believe that the adverse weather conditions present an unacceptable risk. Therefore, we have taken this action, which we hope you agree, is the most sensible thing to do.
Please don't forget to let us know which event you would like us to switch your entry to (if Saturday May 18th is unsuitable).
Regards
