Spring Classics 2013: Coverage index
Welcome to Cycling Weekly's coverage of the 2013 Spring Classics.
Racing in northern Europe kicks off in earnest on Saturday February 23 with Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, accompanied by fellow semi-classic Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne the following day (Sunday, February 24).
The Spring Classics proper commence on Sunday March 17 with Milan-San Remo in Italy, then it's back north to Belgium on March 22 for E3 Prijs Vlaanderen and Ghent-Wevelgem (March 24), followed by the Tour of Flanders (March 31) and Paris-Roubaix (April 7).
The following week, the Ardennes Classics commence with the Amstel Gold Race (April 14), and then La Fleche Wallonne (April 17) and Liege-Bastogne-Liege (April 21) bring the curtain down on the month's action.

Nigel Wynn worked as associate editor on CyclingWeekly.com, he worked almost single-handedly on the Cycling Weekly website in its early days. His passion for cycling, his writing and his creativity, as well as his hard work and dedication, were the original driving force behind the website’s success. Without him, CyclingWeekly.com would certainly not exist on the size and scale that it enjoys today. Nigel sadly passed away, following a brave battle with a cancer-related illness, in 2018. He was a highly valued colleague, and more importantly, an exceptional person to work with - his presence is sorely missed.
