Assos L1 Insulator gloves review
As we’d expect from Assos, it’s the fit that really makes these gloves — the phrase ‘fits like a…’ was created for these little beauties. Alternatives we’ve tried rolled around on the hand, pinch or are too tight, but not the L1s. This fit combined with the reasonable price makes them an absolute winner to this tester’s mind.

Springtime often leaves you scratching your head as to which glove is best to wear. A ride may start off chilly, warm up, get wet then end in sunshine.
Our preference is always to wear full-length gloves, as they protect fingers in the event of a crash — have you ever tried typing with plasters on your digits? It’s not good...
So when the L1 gloves arrived we were only too pleased to give them a try. A lightweight but insulating glove, they are tight fitting meaning they’ll go under winter gloves, yet thanks to the silicon print on the palm they grip well when warn on there own, too.
