OneTen long sleeve jersey review
We've been testing the OneTen long sleeve jersey. It's not quite as warm as some options, which makes it good for in-betweeny days

The OneTen long sleeve jersey offers really good performance for its price, but comes up quite large and not as warm as some

For mid-season conditions, a long sleeved jersey adds a bit of warmth, without the full-on insulation of a jacket. The OneTen long sleeve jersey is made of quite a light fabric with a little flocking on its inside and enough windflow through the quite open facing that I needed a long sleeve baselayer underneath to feel comfortable with the temperature hovering around ten degrees.
Otherwise the OneTen long sleeve jersey is an excellent piece for its price. There’s an easy-to-use full front zipper with a puller large enough to use when wearing gloves and the collar is high and close which helps to keep out draughts, while the hem gripper is good enough to keep the bottom in place and fitting snugly.

At the back there’s a fourth zipped valuables pocket and the three open pockets are topped off with reflective piping, to complement the printed-on reflectives at the top of the back, on the right pocket and at the ends of the sleeves.

Sleeve and torso length are both generous and I found that there was a bit of excess material around the upper arms and shoulders. I could have comfortably sized down to a small although I’m typically a UK medium build.
It may not have all the technical bells and whistles of more expensive options, but the OneTen long sleeve jersey is great value at £35. It’s available in black as well as the blue that we have in. OneTen is the in-house apparel brand of Chain Reaction Cycles and at the moment the this jersey is discounted on its website to £31.49, at which price it’s something of a steal.
