The silicone grippers take the form of little Mavic ?M' symbols on the leg bands, though they're not as tight as I'd have liked, meaning they rode up my legs quite early in the ride.

The pad is of middling width, but is firmly packed and extremely protective. The bold mix of black, white and fire-engine red makes them eye-catching, and they score highly for comfort, with soft mesh and smooth panels.
