Hope Hoops Stans Alpha Pro 2 Evo review
When you think Hope, you think good quality and that's what we got with the Hope Hoops Stans Alpha Pro 2 Evo...
I gave the wheels a good hammering on country lanes, bridleways and off-road. They stayed true and performed well.

You can trust Cycling Weekly.
Hope Technology has a strong mtb background, so we were confident in its ability to make a strong set of disc wheels for the road.
Hope’s Pro Evo hubs have proved to be a benchmark for reliability and durability. The choice of colours is another welcome bonus, though sadly we can’t say the same for the quick-release skewers, which failed to impress.
Beautifully finished and polished hubs are matched to well-laced/tensioned rims that feature a braking surface — not wholly necessary, since the hubs are disc-specific.
Some wire-beaded tyres were quite a tight fit, though this may be to do with the tubeless compatibility. Folding tyres fitted more easily.
