Watch: How do you fuel BMC Racing's stars for success?
Team BMC's chef Mirko Sut explains the fuelling strategy behind cooking for some of the worlds best cyclists
Ensuring the nutrition plan for Olympic Champion Greg Van Avermaet and GC contender Richie Porte is on point is vital if BMC Racing want their star riders to perform when it matters out on the road.
The man in charge of ensuring this all runs smoothly is Mirko Sut. Sut works together with the team nutritionists to ensure healthy, nutritious and most importantly tasty food is planned and prepared for the riders on a daily basis during the racing calendar.

"They have a stressful job," say Sut.
"They do a lot of kilometres, and go full gas everyday so when they arrive at dinner it is very important to eat well not only for the body but also for the mind too."
Combining his passion for food and cycling is a dream job for Sut who has been within the sport since 2009.
"I love my job as a chef, and I love cycling. So when you can have both it is fantastic."
